All orders over
£50 will be insured and sent by a registered service requiring a signature on
delivery.
For destinations outside Europe, we can use either 'International Signed
for', Parcel Force International or International Datapost.
I use whatever is
simplest and gives adequate insurance.
A proforma invoice including postage charges will be sent when your parcel is ready, or an email, and the goods despatched upon receipt of payment.
Methods of payment for overseas customers:
I can invoice in Euros, transfers are to be made to:
Sparkasse Starkenburg, Postfach 1340,
64631 Heppenheim, Germany
D J Law, Girokonto-Nr. 11180610. Bankleitzahl 509 514 69 (sort code)
IBAN Nr. DE47 5095 1469 0011 1806 10
BIC: HELADEF1HEP
I can accept payments via PAYPAL.
If you want to pay me this way, I will send a request for money via PayPal,
giving your e-mail address and the amount in sterling; you get an e-mail telling
you how to pay.
I am charged for this service so your invoice will be subject to a 4%
surcharge.
This will not make getting things made any quicker, since I don't keep finished
stuff on the shelf,
but it may help reduce the cost of using bank transfers; for smaller orders this
really saves money and hassle.
International Draft in
£: this is a cheque, payable through a London
bank,
which your bank supplies to you, for you to send on.
This ensures that the
London bank does not also make charges. Hopefully!
Direct transfer is made to :
HSBC, 18 Market Place, Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire OX7 5NE, UK.
You will have to ensure that you pay all charges.
Your own Internal cheques written in sterling are not accepted.
Quote from the grandson of Alexander Graham Bell, whom I met at
dinner once a long time ago:
"never forget that banks are
in competition with you for your money"
and unless you're careful, they will win.
